The University of Swabi is a Public Sector University, chartered by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The University invites applications for the following faculty positions on a regular basis.

OR 10-years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.

Publications: The applicant must have 15 research publications with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized journals.

Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. degree in relevant field, recognized by HEC in consultation with PEC.

Experience: 15- Years teaching/ research experience in a recognized Institution/College/ University or 15-years professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization out of which 5-years must be teaching experience OR 10-years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.

Publications: 15 research publications with at least 5 in the last five years in HEC/PEC recognized journals.

 

How to Apply:

 

  1. Interested individuals should apply through the online job portal available at the University website www.usjp.uoswabi.edu.pk and visit the website regularly for updates regarding the process.
  2. The candidates are required to deposit Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees: ten thousand only) as an application processing and Evaluation of Research Publication Fee (non-refundable) through Online Deposit in Account Nos. 0323-204588555 or 0323-223082836, United Bank Limited, Swabi Branch or 0308002009051247, Bank of Khyber, Maneri Payan Branch in favour of Treasurer, University of Swabi.  
  3. Candidates should fill out the online application form and send its printed copy to the Registrar's Office along with proof of Online Deposit and attested photocopies of all DMCs, Degrees, Certificates, Experience Certificates, CNIC, two recent passport-size photographs, and a dossier containing five (05) sets of the following documents along with the application form: i) List of research publications showing title, journal name, year of publication, and online reference link of the publisher, where applicable; ii) Reprints of the publications along with the title page of the journal(s); iii) Curriculum Vitae on or before February 14, 2025, through registered postal/courier service. Incomplete applications/received after the due date will not be considered.
  4. Valid Landline telephone, Mobile number, Postal, and Email addresses must be written on the Application Form. Changes in address/contact numbers must be communicated to this office on an urgent basis in writing.

Terms & Conditions:

 

  1. Candidates serving in Government, semi-government, or autonomous bodies should apply through Proper Channels and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
  2. CGPA less than 3.00/4.00 will be considered Second Division.
  3. The candidates having a Foreign Degree/Certificate must provide an Equivalency/Relevancy Certificate from HEC/IBCC, Islamabad along with the application which shall be the responsibility of the candidate. If not provided within the due date, the application will not be considered for further processing.
  4. Experience/qualification gained after the closing date of application shall not be considered.
  5. Legal action will be taken if any of the submitted documents are found fake/tampered.
  6. The selected candidates will be governed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Universities Act 2012 and the Rules/Regulations/Statutes of the University of Swabi.
  7. As per the University of Swabi Statutes 2016 and relevant rules, only eligible/shortlisted candidates will be called for an Interview. No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates called for the Interview. The university will not be held responsible for non- or late receipt of Call Letters for Interviews by candidates. All relevant information/updates will be published on the university website www.uoswabi.edu.pk.
  8. The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of position(s) depending upon the needs of the departments or not to fill any position.
