Zoological Science Society Swabi (ZSSS), Department of Zoology have organized 1st one day National Seminar held at Asif Memorial Hall, on 16th Nov, 2017. The title of the seminar was, Economic Importance of Fisheries and Aquatic Pollution as source of Human Diseases'. 02 guest speakers and 02 host speakers delivered lectures on:

1) Economic Importance of Fisheries, delivered by Mrs. Shaista Waqar, Assistant Director Fisheries, Rawalpindi , Punjab

2) Fish Borne Parasitic Zoonosis,  delivered by Mrs. Nazish Shah, Lecturer Department of Zoology

3) Toxicity of Heavy metals to Fish and to Human Being via Food Chain, delivered by Mr. Wasim Akram, Assistant Director Fisheries, Rawalpindi , Punjab

4) Hypophysation/Induced Breeding, delivered by Mr. Ahsan khan, Lecturer, Department of Zoology.

Prof. Dr. Imtiaz Ali Khan, VC, University of Swabi, the Chief Guest of the event mentioned that, fully support will be provided for organizing such events.
