NOTIFCATION
Consequent upon the approval of the Competent Authority award of Merit, Need Based and Hardship categories have been finalized as per lists attached. The Competent Authority has, this time also approved the creation of the third category, i.e., the Hardship category, under which students suffering from special circumstances which are not covered by the existing scholarships rules has been awarded scholarships. As per decision of the Scholarship committee in order to allow maximum number of students to benefit from the scheme, only one scholarship is to be awarded to a student who may be eligible for more them one category. In all such cases the larger amount will be awarded. But to acknowledge the hard work of students falling eligible in the merit category and the HEC or university need based category, will be awarded Rs 3000/, Rs2000/ and Rs 1000/ to all such students who stand 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the merit category.
