The first Meeting of Board of Studies, Department of Chemistry was held on December 23rd, 2016 at 10:00 AM in Committee Room at University of Swabi. The Board of Studies was arranged to discuss and approve the scheme of studies prepared by the Department of Chemistry for BS, MSc and MPhil. The meeting was chaired by the Vice chancellor, University of Swabi, Prof. Dr. Noor Jehan and participated by Dr. Abdur Rauf Head of Department, UoS (member), Prof. Dr. Bashir Ahmad, UoP (member), Prof. Dr. Ghias Uddin UoP (member), Dr. Sultan Shah Associate Professor, Government degree collage Lahor, (member), Dr. Khaliq Ur Rehman Assistant Professor, (member), Department of Chemistry, UoS (member), Mr. Muhammad, Lecturer, Department of Microbiology, (member), Mr. Muhammad Awais, Lecturer, Department of Geology, (member), Mr, Abdul Malik, Lecturer, Government degree collage Zaida, (member) and Mr. Muhammad Asif, Government degree collage Lahor (member).
The Vice chancellor, Univiesity of Swabi, Prof. Dr. Noor Jehan welcomed the members and informed them about the relevant issues. Head of Department, Chemistry thanked all the members, especially those members, who came from the University of Peshawar. After this the agenda was placed before the members for their consideration and approval. The members took keen interest in every item of the agenda and offered valuable suggestions to further improvement. All the members shared their opinion and gave their input. The members of Board of Studies unanimously approved the agenda items with suggestions for minor amendments. The Board appreciated the progress and efforts made by the HoD, Department of Chemistry, for the improvement of students and university. The meeting was concluded by the Chair Prof. Dr. Noor Jehan Vice chancellor UoS. The worthy-self thanked all the participants for their time and input. Dr. Abdur Rauf; Head, Department of Chemistry thanked the chair for her support and all members of the board.
