70th Independence Day was celebrated in full swing, at the University of Swabi, Swabi. In this regard, a simple and A graceful function was arranged in the Vice Chancellor Secretariat. Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Noor Jehan was the Chief Guest of the Ceremony.
On the occasion, Registrar, Mr. Dr. Muhammad Faisal Anwar Malik, Dean, Prof. Dr. Mian Sayed Khan, heads of all the sections, faculty members and staff, were present.
The flag hoisting ceremony took place at 10:00 AM in the Vice Chancellor Secretariat. National Anthem and university anthem were also played on the occasion.
while addressing the participant, Prof. Dr. Noor Jehan reiterated that we must respect our freedom and independence, she added that being an academician we are having big responsibility on our shoulders, because we are the builder of this nation. We should work hard so that we could take Pakistan to the horizons of success and prosperity. she also said that we can take our country out of all problems that we face today, by producing Great Minds through Quality Education.
