1st Board of Studies Meeting, Department of Economics

1^st meeting of the Board of Studies, Department of Economics, University of Swabi, was held in the Committee Room of the Vice Chancellor Secretariat on 26^th August, 2015. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Noor Jehan, the Vice Chancellor of University of Swabi.

8. Syed Asim Shah (Lecturer) Department of Economics, University of Swabi

Opening the discussion, the Vice Chancellor welcomed the participants and appreciated them to lend their support and offer their services in the areas at times. The Vice Chancellor also emphasized on improving the quality of education in order to make the students able to meet the challenges of the modern world.

In the meeting, academic issues on the agenda were discussed. The Board recommended the agenda items unanimously, with minor changes for final approval. The board also appreciated the efforts made by the management and faculty of the Department of Economics for being capable in managing the 1^st meeting of a Board of Studies in a very short notice.

The meeting was concluded with a vote of thanks from the chair.
