The 7th Meeting of Syndicate of the University of Swabi was held on September 02, 2015. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Noor Jehan, Vice Chancellor, University of Swabi. Mr. Akhtar Ali Shah, Chairman, Chief Minister Inspection Cell, Mr. Ajmal Khan, Vice Chancellor, Islamia College University, Peshawar, Mr. Justice (R) Raj Muhammad Khan, Mr. Aziz Khan, Ex-IGP, KP, nominee of Establishment, Finance and Higher Education Department and elected members of Syndicate of University of Swabi also attended the meeting. All members of besides, revised budget of the university for the Fiscal Year 2015-16 being recommended, minutes of the 6th meeting of syndicate were also confirmed. Recommendations of the 2nd meeting of the Selection Board relating to the appointments against administrative & teaching positions in various fields on regular basis were approved. Services of number of employees of the university from BPS-1-5 to be regularized were also discussed and ruled that the Vice Chancellor has the authority to dispose off these cases on the basis of merit-cum-fitness directly.
With regard to action under Section 11 (5) (c) of the Act, 2015, the Syndicate has formed a committee for the purposes to deal with accordingly.
