The 2nd meeting of the Board of Studies, Department of Management Sciences, University of Swabi was held on 20th August 2015 at Committee Room with Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Alam, Dean Faculty of Sciences in Chair. The meeting was attended by Dr. Syed Mohammad Amir Shah, Head of Department, Commerce Department, Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad, Mr. Muhammad Nadeem, Principal Govt. College of Management Sciences Mardan, Mr. Fazal Ullah, Principal Govt. College of Management Sciences, Bam Khel Swabi, Mr. Abrar Ullah, Ms Sania Shah, Mr. Atta e Rabbi Lecturer Department of Management Sciences, University of Swabi and Mr. Dost Muhammad, Mr Sufyan Muhammad, Lecturers Department of Management Sciences, University of Swabi as observers.
Prof. Dr Mukhtar Alam, Dean Faculty of Sciences elaborated the importance and objectives of the meeting. He reiterated that every possible effort would be made to ensure quality academic system. Later on detailed agenda was presented item wise by Mr. Said Shah, Head, Department of Management Sciences.
In the meeting, several academic issues were discussed. The board recommended launching of Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS), MBA (1.5) and MS programs in the Department onward approval. The meeting also approved scheme of studies and detailed course contents for these programs.
The meeting ended with vote of thanks from and to the Chair.
