Terms & Conditions:

  1. Bidding shall be carried out on “Item Rate System”. Wherein the Bidder are required to fill their own rates / amount in the blank columns against each item in the BOQ. In case no rate is quoted against any item, the same will be executed at free of cost by the contractor, as per specifications/drawings. Furthermoretwo decimal digits will be considered for evaluation.
  2.          The person whose name exists in form-H/Partnership deed will only be entitled to sign the tender, BOQ and all other contract documents, in case, wherein it is established that any contractor found at guilty, the competent authority may take appropriate action against the firm/contractor, which will lead to disqualification/black listing of the firm and the bid will be stand cancelled.
  3.          The Bidder quoting their rates up-to 10% below or more on Engineer’s Estimate may be dealt with Secretary Finance Govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Notification No. SO/(FR)/FD/9-7/2011/Vol-II dated. 03/11/2014 will be adopted.
  4.           In case of equal bid 1st, 2nd and 3rd etc. the successful bidder would be decided through toss/ draw by the undersigned. 
  5.          All Taxes etc. shall be deducted from the bill of the contractors/firms/companies at prescribed rates notified by the Government from time to time.
  6.         Incomplete or conditional tender will be liable to rejection straight away without assigning any reason thereof.
  7.         The successful bidder who refuse/fail to start the work after accepting Work Order shall be liable to forfeit their Earnest Money
  8.         Those firms / contractors who are involved in litigations in any department /organization are not allowed to participate in tendering process.
  9.         The sealed Financial Bids will be received through registered mail /courier service; by hand/faxed and on other source delivery of the said documents as well as documents received after due date and time shall not be entertained.
  10. Incomplete/disfiguring/over-writing/delayed bids will be considered non-responsive.
  11. The bidders are at liberty to seek any clarification or further information from the office of undersigned or from office of the Director P&D, University of Swabi, if desire on any working day during office hours.
  12. The University of Swabi reserves the right to accept/reject any/all tenders/bids as per PPRA’s/ KPPRA’srules.
  13. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased on submission of written application from office of the Undersigned upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5,000/- to be submitted in the form of bank draft in favor of Treasurer, University of Swabi.
  14. Tender forms/bidding documents shall be issued to the original contractors/firms/companies or their/his authorized agent  on the production of original or attested copies of Registration/Enlistment, renewal fee receipt for the Year 2014-2015, Income Tax Certificate, NTN and valid license from the PEC in the relevant category
