A five-day “Indigenous on Campus Training Workshop under Modern University Governance Program of HEC” has commenced in the University of Swabi on 6th April, 2015. This workshop has been organized to train the staff in management cadre (Non-Teaching Staff) in BPS-16 and above to enhance their administrative skills.
The Chief Guest of the first day of the training was Honorable Vice Chancellor; Mr. Ajmal Khan. In his opening remarks, he thanked the Vice Chancellor, Unviersity of Swabi, all the faculty and administrative staff for the invitation. He praised the Vice Chancellor, University of Swabi for her endeavors to promote the University.
The Vice Chancellor, University of Swabi, Prof. Dr. Noor Jehan welcomed the participants and hoped that this training will prove to be very useful for knowledge enhancement and capacity building of the participants. She informed that the University has planned a comprehensive training program for its staff. She said that this is a good opportunity for all the participants to learn and emphasized that this will be utilized efficiently by the participants. She ensured that the University will make every possible effort to provide all kind of facilities to the participants during the training workshop. She expressed her commitment of providing learning environment to the staff members.
Mr. Ajmal Khan delivered his lecture on Hostel Management, of which he has vast experience. After delivering the lecture, Mr. Ajmal Khan in his concluding remarks once again thanked the entire staff of the University of Swabi and particularly the Vice Chancellor University of Swabi for the invitation and hoped to visit the University again.
Besides university staff, participants also included the staff of affiliated colleges of the University of Swabi. The training workshop is scheduled from April 6th – 13th, 2015 in which expert resource persons will deliver seminar to the participants.
