On the eve of international women`s day a graceful ceremony was organized at university of Swabi in honor of Prof. Dr. Noor Jehan Vice Chancellor University of Swabi, to congratulate her on being selected as woman of distinction by the prestigious International Women Achievers’ Award in Canada.
Dignitaries from all over the province attended the ceremony. The untiring and valuable services of Prof. Dr.Noor Jehan were applauded by all and sundry. Faculty, Staff, students and Guests were rejuvenated and expressed their elation both in their words and actions. A standing ovation was given to her to pay her a tribute. Notable females from the province and faculty of university were of the opinion that this moment of excellence belonged to them also. They extended their gratitude to her for being a paragon of bravery and intellect and for being a role model for women all over Pakistan.
Prof.Dr.Noor Jehan was overwhelmed by the love and respect showered upon her. She in her note of thanks said that the theme of this year women’s day is her message to every woman, if she could make it happen every woman in Pakistan can do the same she also thanked IWAA for bestowing this honor upon her and for appreciating her services despite all odds.
