2nd International Conference
Why democracy in Pakistan has failed to consolidate? Are people losing trust on democracy? Is military interference in politics a key factor for weak democracy? Have political parties failed to strengthen democracy? Why political parties failed in evolving a sustainable political culture within their party structures and what are implications of this failure?
If these questions bother you, this event is for you. To investigate the above question, the Departments of Political Science and International Relations (IR) are going to organize 2st International Conference on ‘Democratic Consolidation in Pakistan: Issues, Challenges and Way Forward’ on November 15-16, 2023 at the University of Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The conference expects a great and quality participation from political scientists, researchers, policy makers and civil society organisations.
