The IT exhibition “ExcilITcup 2016” was held on 26th of November, 2016 at Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. Mr. Anwar Amjad, Director General of IT, Higher Education Commission, Islamabad was the chief guest of the event. He was accompanied by the Chairman Department of Computer Science Prof. Dr. Nayyer Masood, Dean of Faculty of Computing Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdul Qadir and other faculty members of the Department.
There were total of 210 students from different universities who participated in the event for different IT projects. These projects were Speed programming, E-Gaming, IT Mushaira, and Poster designing. The students of Department of Computer Science, University of Swabi participated in E-Gaming, IT Mushaira, and Poster designing. Among all the 210 students, Mr. Fahad Student of Department of Computer Science got 2nd position in poster designing. His 2nd position is a big achievement specifically for the Department of Computer Science and the University in general. The chief guest Mr. Anwar Majid gave shield and certificate to Mr. Fahad for getting 2nd position and appreciated his efforts and achievement.
Mr. Fahad was also awarded different vouchers of 25% discount for advanced course from several companies like ICEPT and so on.
