The Laptop Distribution Ceremony for the students of University of Swabi under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, was held at the University of Swabi.
Ms.Tahira Bukhari MNA, PML(N) was the chief guest of the ceremony while The Vice Chancellor University of Swabi, Prof. Dr. Noor Jehan, Dean Arts and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mian Sayed Khan Director, Registrar Dr. Muhmmad Faisal Anwar Malik, faculty, All Heads of Departments and Sections and large number of students were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on this occasion, Ms.Tahira Bukhari MNA said the government is fully aware of the importance of the educated youth and committed to equip them with modern day’s technologies. “Youth is our asset and nation have full confidence in them.”
She further said that Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif is very clear and committed to support youth of the country and Prime Minister’s laptop scheme is the part of PM’s vision to uplift youth.
Earlier, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Noor Jehan, in her address said that PM laptop scheme was a great initiative of the government to give laptops to the students. “Pakistan is lacking behind in information technology sector as compared to the rest of the world and it is duty of our youth to take advantages of the facilities provided by the government, she has also added that the youth is the real asset of the country and future of Pakistan lies in the hands of young generation as today’s youth will lead the country in future.
