A five-day “Indigenous-on-Campus Training Workshop under Modern University Governance Program of HEC” has started in the University of Swabi. This workshop has been organized for staff in management cadre (Non-Teaching Staff) in BPS-16 and above.
The Vice Chancellor, University of Swabi, Prof. Dr. Noor Jehan in her opening address welcomed the participants and hoped that this training will prove to be very useful for knowledge enhancement and capacity building of the participants. She informed that the University has planned a comprehensive training program for its staff. She said that this is a good opportunity for all the participants to learn and emphasized that this will be utilized efficiently by the participants. She ensured that the University will make every possible effort to provide all kind of facilities to the participants during the training workshop. She expressed her commitment of providing learning environment to the staff members.
Besides university staff, participants also included from affiliated colleges of the University of Swabi. The training workshop is scheduled from September 2-8, 2014 in which experts resource persons will deliver seminar to the participants.
