The syndicate of Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan upon the recommendations of Selection Board, appointed Mr. SherAlam Khan as 1st regular Registrar (BPS-20), Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan. A Notification from the Establishment Section of the university vide No. (1)-Reg-1/AWKUM/2014/1130, dated August 19, 2014 stated it. Prior to it, Mr. Sher Alam Khan, was performing as Deputy Project Director at University of Swabi with additional charge of the post of Registrar for the last two years. He has also performed as Deputy Project Director, Islamic University, Swat in the year 2008 and 1stRegular Registrar University of Swat in the year 2010. Mr. Sher Alam Khan has a plenty of experience at his credit at HED as a teacher of English and an Academic Manager of repute. The social, literary circles of Mardan and staff and students of the Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan have welcomed his appointment and have termed it as good ominous for the welfare and progress of the university.
